A hereditary cabinet-maker Aldo Morelato opened a workshop La Casa Rossa in 1930. Afterwards a company arose – the best manufacturer of classic furniture in Verona. In the family archive of marquis Villa Dionizu a rich set of sketches had survived. Nowadays they are revised as for modern demands and functionality. All the models have strict forms and high quality wood processing. American cherry (Canada, France, Slovenia) is used in the production. The factory also works out contract directions (interior of hotels, restaurants). Morelato, also, is involved in enlightenment activity: it supports the young designers, annually holds a competition of international projects with many rewards, and trains the young restorers.
