According to one of the versions, the Italian company Fendi was founded in 1925 in Rome by a couple Fendi, and to other – the business was founded in 1918 from the Adele Casagrande fur shop. In 1925 Adel married Eduard Fendi and they together started developing the business. The fashion house produced bags, fur and leather articles, and sewed luxury articles for the royal family. From 1965 on the models for collections were created by famous German Carl Lagerfeld It was him, who invented the logo of the company from turned letters FF, as well as he made the fur the important décor of the clothes and accessories. In 1984 the first interior collection was carried out: furniture and accessories for home. Today the company offers a wide range of products – from soft furniture, tables and beds to the decorative mirrors, carpet, frames and jewelry-boxes.
