With the name of this Italian factory, such concept as lux, glamour, high quality life is essential. The company was founded in 1959 by the brothers Vittorio and pompeo Cavalli. One of its big first orders was the design of armchair for the concern Lancia – a brand, that is famous for its innovative elaborations. In order to correspond to its level, the factory started studying the newest technologies of materials, for example the characteristics of foampolyuretan, discovered at that time (patent of the company Pirelli). The brothers Cavalli didn't lose: they gained an experience in making high technological product with long life exploitation. And the letters IPE in the company's name – this is the abbreviation of the term Imbottiture Prodotti Espansi, which means foampolyuretan. The factory manufactures mainly soft furniture and beds. Most of the models are made of neogothics style and are combined with a common idea: for example Grantour (2007) has an idea of a voyage in a liner, Entertainment (2008) – about entertainments.
