In 1978 the brothers Marcato & Dario Romano founded a small business. The education of engineer ventures them to concentrate on the technical part of the furniture making. The models Lapalma remind prints of the three-dimensional modeling program. The form is thought so, that just one movement of the press was enough to make a seat or top. The bent veneer (light colors) is actively used in the process of production. The frame of the furniture is mostly made of metal pipes. The seats are mostly tough; the covering is black or red leather. Among the rewards of the factory – a special diploma of English exhibition FX International Interior Design Awards (Interior Design Product of the Year 2000) and Japanese reward Good Design Award (2001). Besides, the company is an active member of CATAS – Italian center of furniture industry development.
